About the Teacher

Welcome student's and parent's!

I am excited to be a part of this new school year at Del Rosa Christian School as your new Fourth Grade teacher! First off, I want to start by saying "God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect." (1 John 4:16, NLT). My heart is to teach children the love of Christ! How do I do that, you ask? I do it by having a personal relationship with him daily, it is something that I am dependent upon because I am able to pour out my love unto your children when I teach.
A little about myself: My name is Ariell Montano and I will soon be Mrs. Harrison, come December 6, 2014. I met my fiancé as we were both serving in our church’s high school ministry together, which was a little over five years ago. I will be receiving my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Studies with an emphasis in Early intervention, this October at California Baptist University. I am constantly growing through grace and stepping out in faith where the Lord leads me daily, a verse I hold onto daily is Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope”.
I feel that God put a desire and passion in my heart to teach children and I am so blessed to teach fourth graders. I am excited that I get to teach your children and I will always make a point that all my students get a good grasp and understand each subject. I refer to my teaching as using the BIG 3:  teaching visually, auditory, and kinesthetically. We all have unique qualities and I want to make sure that all my students learn what works best for them to help them thrive this school year. I’m also excited for the adventures ahead of us with all the fun field trips we get to experience as a class together!
Facts about Miss. Montano: I am the only child but will inherit three sisters when I get married, which I am thrilled about! I love Coffee and bright flowers.
I also want to emphasize to parent's that they are more than welcome to call or email me with any questions they may have!
God Bless,
Miss. Ariell Montano
